when wenjun was in middle school he was lanky, she, reserved, didn't talk much and was an overall wad of weird boy. he didn't study ever (the guy was smart enough, so what was the point) and was the president of the yoyo club. he didn't like stepping out of his comfort zone ever. but of course, the people in his yoyo club egged him on to try doing this professionally. when he had tried to say no, the club members continued to insist, using the "why, you scared?" trope. so wenjun, trying to prove that he is not a coward,  he did it. and he won. holy , he actually won a profession yoyo competition.

he continued to do the yoyo thing, and then high school hit. when that happened, puberty hit him like a big, fat, yellow school bus. wenjung got tall. like, really tall. he grew to a whipping 187 cm and his facial features developed. suddenly, the yo-yo club was getting a lot more popular because of their president. 

prior to another yoyo competition, this one taking place outside of china, he was scouted on the streetby a korean entertainment company. he said he'd think about it to them, and he did. he thought long and hard. the audition would be taking place the same day of the competition and he had to make a decision. thinking that singing would be a more prolonged career, he went for it. 

his 3 years in his agency were great and he was apart of a project group that had gotten a bit of a following. it wasn't a big one, but they had a fanbase nonetheless. however, wenjun had gotten into some turmoil with his company, so he left.

wenjun isn't the kind of person to shout very often, unless he's with the people who have shedded this thick layer of "super polite, awkward, and shy." he often speaks his mind and is a very sweet, genuine person. he's a hard worker, and honestly, if you ask something of him, he'll do anything to get it for you.
