heaven seems so far away. it has been centuries since soonyoung had tasted the pure hair and walked upon the luscious grass which lined the pristine sidewalks. it was the little things of heaven which soonyoung came to find out he would miss. yet, his small mind had fallen into depravity as his hedonistic nature took a hold of his being. the pleasure of the body determined his actions beyond that of which God asked of him. plagued by the thoughts guided by hedonism, soonyoung found himself falling out of pardon with God. it is this which eventually led to his falling--centuries, millennia before many others. time has long become merely a concept to soonyoung. he only knew loneliness as a fallen angel. loneliness until there was many like his own. the cruelty of God not being forgiving of soonyoung's sins should have been enough to push him to the point of no return as a demon. yet, a childish innocence left from the angelic side of him remained, keeping one of his feet firmly planted in the light as the part of him rejected by God remained in the dark. it had sunk its teeth into him long ago. a man constantly at war with himself, he is buried deep in a duality where one day one side may be more dominant than the other. even within hours, he can switch like a light.

the centuries spent on earth, suspended in limbo, has left soonyoung with a twisted humor but a humor no left. if you wish to find a moment where he is agreeable, you must be close enough to him to understand when he swings between his sides. his fallen side is not disagreeable but it is much harder to work with for that side works for his pleasure and nothing more. both of which are equally playful but with different tendencies behind them. speaking with hoshi is like playing with the devil. you won't be consumed as long as you stay on his good side. to say soonyoung has a split personality is a stretch. there are days where one side is more dominant than the other... but there are also days where they are balanced and he almost appears normal. he is inherently good but wayward on what drives him.
