"Taekwoon, wake up...." the voice calling him make him snapped his eyes open. the 27 years old embalmer looking around, mind still clouded with sleep when he felt a feather-like touch caressing his cheek, a wide simper stretched across his face. "You're my new client..?" the voice didn't answer instead the door creaked open revealing his father, dressed in a sharp ironed suits suitable with his role as the funeral director, looking presentable in anytime as death never cares about time.  He does need to be reminded to know what he should do. He stretched the sleep of his body, reaching his hand out to the file his father is holding on as he walk his way out of the room into his working space. "female... 20 years old.... suicide by drug overdose...." he stop at that, standing in front of the cold body on the table waiting for his hand to do his magic. "don't worry, i'll make you pretty." he caressed her cold cheek gently with the back of his gloved hand before leaving to the chemical cabinet.

taekwoon had always been the extrinsic child , different from his sisters or any other kids around their neighbourhood. maybe because he had grow in a family with crematorial business or because of his interest into the death. his parent had always worried about his interest, plus with the lack of social friend he had despite his bubbly yet composed demeanor. taekwoon had always preferred to spend his free time alone, either studying the embalming process, helping with the funeral or wandering around in the wood behind his house where one day he returned late evening with clothes covered in dirt and blood, terrifying his mother as he told her that the blood came from the beautiful one-winged man he found near the abandoned church in the wood. the young taekwoon's first encounter faded through time but not forgetton.  when he started his career as the embalmer , his father remind him to not approach the damned if he had chance of encountering them, he doesn't understand. knowledge from the old book said that ethereal being should not meddle with human being or possessed any worldly desire, or else they'll be damned. but the sight of the crying angel, but with a dirty black feathered wing next to a cold corpse, enticed his curiousity. why must the blessed immortal living near the grace of god dare to let themselves be damned, descend into this horrifying world. he is still searching for an answer. maybe in the next encounter, he'll get his answer.
