Jennie has always had a fascination for science and mythical creatures. as a child goosebumps books and disney movies and other fairytales took up space in her head and her room, it was all she needed to keep her young mind occupied during the fighting between her mother and father. not only did they fight but they would compare her to her three older brothers who made names for themselves at a very young age. one was a well-known building architect and the other had his own line of jewelry. they were put on a pedestal for her to look up to, but she had different dreams. jennie wanted to live comfortably as well but she had no direction in her life, she was only there to please her parents. they had no interest in her own dreams and her "science" projects. but she was able to get away from their nagging once she was in college. one of her favorite classes "mythology 101" was her favorite because of her love of tales and where they came from but also because jennie was an intern for the professor's company that secretly resides in magnolia springs. she happily joined the team thinking she would be able to see mythical creatures without being told about the experiments they do on them.

Unlike her weird hobbies and the strange obsession she has with the creatures in magnolia springs, she's your normal college student trying to get by in life. jennie is boyish and shyer than she seems to be, once she's comfortable many come to find out she's more adventurous and practically the genius the world's has been searching for. she enjoys philosophical thinking and always wants to be on the scene when anything happens in the magical town. she doesn't give herself the credit she deserves when it comes to helping others since "anyone else could have said the same thing" when it comes to fixing problems and giving others advice.she' is always ready to do anything for her friends- even the smallest of favors. as much as jennie says she can keep a secret, she can't despite her love for them. i guess you can say she loves sticking her nose into people's lives which is not always a good thing. she's a dreamer who loves whiskey and the company of her friends. but she also enjoys pondering life's big issues and often makes notes of her observations whenever she decides to explore the village a bit.
