hani is a firecracker. 

she grew up away from these packs, her parents wanting a normal human life for her, but of course that didn't work out. the ruts were insane, on top of when she found out she could shift forms on a whim. 

She grew upset at her parents for suppressing this side of her for so long, and thus began her journey in jiriki. 

after discovering that packs dwelled here in the acult studies class at the college she was studying at, she decided to go check it out for herself. that's where she   found the jiriki leader, who brought her into the pack
