His life changed when he was left for dead in the forest and a wolf found him. Yoongi was in the middle of his transformation and almost killed him with a bite. It didn't kill him though and indeed it made him stronger. Taken in by Yoongi's affluent family, Jiyong was finally showing his talent, and he was a commander in a matter of a few years, his talent as a politician undeniable, and when he was named as successor to the leadership, even over Yoongi, the natural heir, there were rebels who didn't accept it, but it didn't surprise the many.
