section 01
a little boy, born to two wealthy parents, lee taeyong was raised in an entertainment household. his dad, the head of his personal entertainment company, blue moon entertainment, he immediately expected his son to join his company and become the next big thing. when taeyong was old enough to walk, his father began teaching him how to dance, how to hold a microphone, how to play the piano, drums, violin, and when he could form sentences, the vocal training began. taeyong's dad was not a nice man, and he was very strict. so while most kids his age were outside playing, taeyong was practicing 18 plus hours a day, and on top of that, taeyong's father would abuse the poor boy. slapping, choking, starving, overworking. it didn't matter to his father, he wanted taeyong to be perfect。
taeyong's nanny, seeing how miserable the poor boy was, took him to the playground one day, just get away from his dad for a day. on that day, taeyong pushed a little girl down the slide, that girl would be kim jiho, his would be, life long best friend. not long after taeyong became friends with jiho, he debuted as a child soloist at age 7, and enjoyed a lenghty solo career until he was 23, he decided to take time off 。

from the time taeyong was 7 at his debut, till the time his father and mother were killed in a car accident, his father's abuse only got worse. from the time he started school, even though he wanted to be with jiho, he was placed in private school. being alone most of his time in school, taeyong had very few friends, save for jiho. his father kept him from having a social life, and kept him from having any friends ever come over, due to being afraid someone would out his father about his abuse of taeyong. as taeyong got older, for a brief time, in middle school, he was able to get out more and hang out with jiho a little, due to his nanny sneaking him out. when he started going to hang out with jiho, he met a young boy named yoongi, who would prove to be his best friend, someone he could always count on to make him smile, someone he knew would always have his back。
in that same time, he would meet someone who changed his life forever. there was one boy, who taeyong was absolutely terrified of. someone who was taller and tougher than he was. this boy had a temper issue, and he tended to fight people. and when he met taeyong, he would always bully him. until one day, taeyong was being bullied by a group of boys, and this boy came to his rescue, and vowed to protect him. this boy's name was kim dongyoung, and this was the man taeyong would end up marrying. one day, when taeyong was older, in high school, he got into a fight with his dad about a dance routine that he was doing rather well in, but his dad wanted more out of it. so, his dad snapped at taeyong and stabbed taeyong in a fit of rage. absolutely horrifed and ready to end his life, he called his friend doyoung, sobbing and scared. his friend came over and lunged at his dad, almost attacking him, which resulted in him and his mother holding him back. ever since that day, taeyong realized that he was in love with him. after all the time they spent together, after all the times this man saved his life, made him laugh, made him feel loved, he was absolutely sure he was head over heels in love with him。
