born in auckland, but raised in melbourne, chaeyoung grew up in a happy, supportive family. with her mother, a businesswoman, father and older sister, a pair of successful lawyers, she was the only one who fell under the magic spell and beauty of music and art. after taking a notice of their daughter's undeniable talent and passion, the parks applied her for one of the most prestigious art schools in the whole down under. the sweet teenager passed the audition with flying colors and soon enough became the school's biggest prodigy.  throughout the years of her education, she got many offers from a lot of different entertainment companies. each and every one of them promising her insane amount of money and glory, but she didn't want that.  she was doing what she was doing out of love, and yes, while some money would be pretty nice, the idol life wasn't something that suited a free spirit like her. so when the seoul's art university offered her a scholarship, she didn't hesitate to pack her bags and sit on the very first available plane that flew in the direction of south korea. while it was hard to say a temporary goodbye to her family, she was more than sure that she made a right decison. now it was just her and her guitar, chasing after the best possible education in singing, songwriting and producing all while trying to fit in the new crowd. unlike youth that spent their nights partying like wild animals, chaeyoung spent them inside the four walls of her room, studying and producing - which resulted in her graduating way earlier than the rest of her peers with a diploma in her hands, she kept rejecting all the scouts and kept searching for alternative options. as she was getting short on money, one of her friends suggested her to film a cover and post it on youtube. deciding that why the hell not, she did just that and soon enough became a viral hit on every possible social platform. ever since then her life took a massive turn. from covers, to self-written songs, to legit music videos and vlogs, she easily became one of the most popular names on the entire internet scene.
