Biography: Having grown up as a human in Magnolia Springs, Youngjae has long since gotten used to living in a world of supernatural beings. Magnolia Springs has been home for as long as he can remember. Until the age of eleven, he was raised by both his mother and his father. His mother was a kind-hearted woman who took care of him and taught him to see the good in all creatures, especially the ones that were different from him. Though his father was also kind and loving toward Youngjae, he harbored a secret hatred of all supernatural beings. His brutal end came when he attacked a vampire in a drunken rage at the local bar. Though his wife was absolutely devastated, she managed to push through her grief and reinforce what she had taught her son, reminding him time and time again that as long as he respected supernatural beings, they would have no reason to hurt him. Her persistence paid off in the end, as Youngjae grew up to be far more curious than frightened when it came to his powerful neighbors. He took a job at the local bakery as a barista, and the highlight of his job was having the opportunity to talk to all kinds of different supernatural beings. He is currently saving money to attend college, hopefully to become an elementary school music teacher.

Personality: Youngjae has a bright, energetic personality. He loves to talk- a lot- and usually smiles while he does so. He doesn't care who he is talking to, as long as it is a lively conversation. Jae is also very friendly and he loves to meet new people, regardless of whether they would like to meet him.

He trusts very easily and is eager to please; however, he is rather naive and finds it difficult to assert himself. He is the type to follow what the other person in the relationship wants, and he tends to be indecisive.
