wenjun grew up in a rather boring family. he was “child b.” of two children to his mother. he was raised to be polite to others and to study well, so that’s usually just what he did. all throughout elementary school, he was so focused on making sure he made his parents proud, that he never focused on making friends.

this transferred onto his middle and high school life, and suddenly, wenjun barely knew how to communicate with others. social interaction and actually making friends was a subject that just completely went over his own head. with only a few exceptions, wenjun never really talked to anyone, and he was fine with that.

while wenjun is taking many advanced classes, he doesn’t actually enjoy school. one of his main escapes to school is yoyoing. wenjun picked up the hobby in middle school, and his friend at the time (this friend moved later on) had asked him to try doing it in a competition. it was a small competition, and wenjun wasn’t expecting anything out of it, but surprisingly, he won. to this day, wenjun still participated in competitions (it ruins his perfect attendance some months, but he gets money after he wins, so it’s fine) and is apart of an actual league.

wenjun doesn’t talk very much. he’s doesn’t feel comfortable talking to people if there aren’t people that he knows around. hes very soft spoken and polite, usually only focused on doing his own work. hes a lot more bold around those that know him. he has a little bit of an attitude when it comes to some of his friends, but it’s always in light fun. wenjun is very different when it gets later into the night. usually, when he’s tired, he loses his filter and speaks his mind a little more often. at rare times, he gets a little bolder and does stuff he would usually do. good thing he usually gets his sleep.
