some people have dramatic backstories - reasons why they've been lured into a sketchy motel in the middle of no where. wooseok isn't one of those people at all. he's lived an uneventful, unremarkable twenty years so far - getting above average grades, making his parents proud, and attending a good university where he'd been taking up psychology as his major. on his way from visiting his parents, wooseok had gotten lost, the roads becoming increasingly unfamiliar with every mile he drove. eventually, he'd decided to make a stop at the first building he'd seen - which just so happened to be a quaint motel by an abandoned highway that definitely didn't seem suspicious to him at all. intending only on taking a break for the night, wooseok was greeted with tons of sweet treats that satisfied his sweet tooth every single day. suddenly, leaving didn't seem so appealing anymore - all he could think about was how tasty the next sweet he'd be eating would be.

personality

wooseok is like any other normal university student - except his sense of existential dread may be a little weaker than most, since he's too busy munching on sweets. he's a little naive, as you can expect from someone that had gotten trapped in an enchanted motel. he's definitely quite awkward and dorky, unsure of how exactly to socialize with people, but he means well.  he can be friendly at times, if you don't have a problem in dealing with his random , rather awkward antics. he's a very loyal friend, however, and he's always exhibited an interest in the motel's staff and inhabitants alike. he's curious, maybe a little too curious, and he has the tendency to get into all sorts of shenanigans if he's not being careful.
