Personality. — Xiao Jun is arrogant but smart. He knows when to play it safe and not piss people off. Though he will try to insult others through sarcastic comments, he prefers not to be blunt when talking to people truthfully. He beats around the bush. He often doesn't apologize for things he has done, even though he knows what he has done is wrong. He is usually just too prideful to admit that he was wrong and he doesn't bother changing. If you were to describe it, he has a mild antisocial personality disorder. Though he isn't actually diagnosed with it, he shows some of the traits mentioned, but he has a therapist who tries to make him a better person. Despite learning how to control his impulses, he is constantly relapsing.

Background. — Xiao Jun was raised in a very wealthy family in China. He was raised to be a businessman, a potential heir out of the three sons his parents had. Being the middle child, he received very little attention, on top with his dad barely being home and his mom being very abusive, verbally and physically, his emotional and psychological state developed differently than his brothers. After times and times again of being abused and taught to be a ruthless businessman, he became the ideal type out of all his brothers. His older brother could be cold, but he had warm feelings for people and tried to not hurt anyone's feelings, his youngest brother was not interested in the career at all and eventually got kicked out the house. His younger brother was discovered a month after leaving the house in a club, overdosed on heroin, and he died because of that. So he took the opportunity to take his older brother weakness for people and became the heir of the company, putting his brother out of the job. But his father found out the method he used to do this and sent him to Korea where Xiao Jun would have to aide his father's small company without any backing of his parents, and he had to build it up himself. This being difficult, he tried to use various methods to gain popularity for the business, a fashion brand. And this is where Chungha could come in. He dated her right after her group disbanded, right when her popularity peaked, and he used her secretly. Though he offered her to do photo shoots and commercials, he was just getting money in the end. Just as when the business was taking off, they broke up, and he went on to manage his company. The company ran out of business as it could not compete, and because he wasn't old enough to have the requirements to own the business, so it went bankrupt. His family ridiculed him and he hated the fact he couldn't prove them wrong, so he cut off all ties with them while sneaking money from their accounts and putting it into his own secret account where they couldn't access. He was able to live comfortably for about a year or two before he decided to head to Blue Moon.

Nowadays, Jun has gotten better at controlling his emotions. He has seen a therapist and he has met someone who has changed his life significantly, Kim Jisoo. Not only has she changed his life for the better, but she has also become the light of his world. Xiao Jun prays that his life is really turning around and this is not just some phase. Perhaps he could really be a good person, and maybe his future actions can overshadow his past.
