For a mortal, a lifetime is short and hardly lived. it's a well known fact and yet the majority are content with the information. In Santiel's point of view, life is stretched and full of destruction. Santiel was an angel of the heavens who was often repenting for his sins. And it wasn't like he was stealing, killing, or anything mortifying. He was simply quite the glutton. So much so that he would venture into the world, among humans just to find things to fill his appetite, which was usally nothing because he didn't need food to sustain his body. He only ate for the hell of it and he loved it. What more, it had no effect on him. He was kicked from heaven for refusing to give up his ugly habit and has been among everyone else for almost two thousand years. For most of the time, he lived apart from humans, a place where no human could really survive long. Antartica. It was dark and cold and kept away prying eyes and after being thrown away and battered, that was exactly what he wanted.
 
to disperse some of the rumors, jisung is the real and only santa. santiel is his angelic name but he shortned it to santa as time passed and he came out more. he doesn't have reindeer because he can fly and get around quicker than what the eyes can catch. he does not have elves because elves don't do other people's bidding- that's just stupid. he is a toymaker but he does not just deliver toys to kids. that was a myth made up by humans too. he brings gifts to those who he deems worthy of them. he can see certain desires and can tell if an intention is good or bad but he does not keep an actual list. obviously, he isn't overweight and ancient looking but he does have an unhealthy obsession with cookies. his abilities come from his angelic blood but he can also perform as a sorcerer. mostly, he strays from doing so because the magic is indeed dark. his wings appear to be dirtied and battered because they are deformed being that he has is fallen. the strangest thing about him is his personality. hidden behind the constant smiles is years of wear and tear. he's a man who has spent many years observing without interacting and staying in the shadows so he comes off as unstable every now and again. you can't blame him though. he's deprived himself socially for the sake of mortal happiness and up until moving to magnolia, he's always been alone.
