Broken dishes and overdue bills. This was the life that Yerim was born into. It simply was not something she could change, and she never once held her parents with resentment nor blamed the heavens for being given this life, it was just a difficult situation. Her parents had both been in real estate business, but soon it tanked and they fell into debt. It was hard enough to put food on the table for themselves and when her little sister Heiran came into the world when Yerim's was only seven years old it pushed her further. She knew she had to be the one to rise into success in order to provide for her family, especially her little sister who had no fault into being born in a such a poor and broken family. Yerim's parents were loving for the most part, but they were too complacent, and due to the lack of income they did have their heated arguments, but it never got her down.
She excelled in school, always on the honor roll list and top of her class all, if not most of her school years. She had the grades and the attitude, but she couldn't afford the tuition for a grand university and while she loved mathematics and would've made one heck of an engineer or mathematician the quickest way to earn money in her 15 year old mind was to be famous. While she was skilled in mathematics and science, singing also came to her naturally and she taught herself how to play the piano when she was only 11. She started to work a job in a local café and auditioned at every entertainment company that opened their doors. Three months after a nerve wrecking and possibly the largest auditioned she attended she received a call back from Blue Moon Entertainment and thus her life as a trainee started.
