As a child, Xiao had a special passion for modelling and anything related to music. She'd loved singing ever since she could start making noises- okay, maybe that's a little exagerrated but she'd love singing ever since she could remember. Along with that was a passion of any and every form of dancing. The one type of dance that held a special spot in her heart however, was ballet.

Xiao was born into a family of celebrities and rich, powerful people. Her mother was a former idol and currently an actress while her father was the previous ceo, current-chairman of the leading electronics company called the Cheng Electronics which was only second to the famous Apple and Microsoft. She was also the only child in the family though she wasn't as spoiled and bratty as everyone expected her to be.
When Xiao was only 4 years old, she got scouted by a modelling company to become a child model. At first, her parents had been shocked as they hadn't expected Xiao to be chosen as a child model in a foreign country and company when there were so many other adorable children to choose from. Nevertheless, they agreed and that was how Xiao became a child model. She loved it though. She enjoyed getting to try on so many different clothes and to get all dolled up. She even got the chance to sing on stage as a child when she's on variety shows. The spotlight shone so brightly on her and it was fun.

At the age of 12 however, the company had to end the contract with her as they deemed her to be too old to be a child model for their company. Her parents agreed as they wanted her to focus in school but to Xiao , it was a sudden stop. It was "BOOM! YOU'RE NO LONGER A CHILD MODEL!" kinda news for her. She'd been so happy and so ambitious to become a better model that the sudden stop made her unable to cope with things. Suddenly, everyone no longer paid any attention to her despite seeing her. Her previous so-called friends left her because they now deemed her 'uncool' to be with while some of her other true friends stayed with her to offer support. As months passed, she struggled so much with trying to lead a normal life that her parents decide to move elsewhere so that she could start over. It also that year that she moved to Shanghai, China. The country that her mother had always wanted to live in.

There, Xiao made new friends, got to know what a normal life was like- if you call the life of the child of a famous actress and a chairman, normal. She grew up without much struggles and lived there until she reached the age of 18. At that time, she'd already achieved a diploma for vocals and was in the advanced class for contemporary dancing and her passion for both dance and singing had grown to the point it was over-filling. Now, at the age of 18, she was sent to Imperial Azure, her parents harbouring hope that she would grow to become an even better version of herself before she finally stepped back out into the spotlight once more.
