Romee was the youngest out of her four siblings. The Strijd’s were a Dutch-American family and Romee was considered their little angel. In school she was picked on because of her Dutch accent that has softened significantly since then. When Romee was 19, her and her boyfriend at the time were making out in his car one night. Somehow the heavy make out session turned into him biting her neck. Romee passed out afterwards and she woke up in her bedroom. She would never see her boyfriend after that night ever again. After Romee was bitten, nothing was the same. Romee Strijd was a vampire. She was an angel no longer.

Romee hates vampires because of her boyfriend, but she still wants them to live in peace and harmony with humans. Romee is part of the Pro Bono for that very reason. Not only is she part of the Pro Bono, but she’s also a vampire hunter. She isn’t a skilled fighter but she puts up a good fight. Romee usually works as a barista at a coffee shop. When she’s fighting, she is ruthless and cold blooded but normally when she’s not fighting, she is usually pretty friendly but quiet. When she’s not working at all she can be quite the partier. Overall, Romee is a hard worker, determined to make the world a better place and a very focused person.
