* backstory | born in a pure-blood family of vampires, yifan was forced into a life of obedience. despite the lack of rules in carpe noctem, he still had to follow the set of traditions he was born into. he was taught the skill of manipulation and fulfilling his desire for blood whenever he saw fit. he always sought himself as a monster and the faces of his victims would flash in his dreams until... he got sick of it and finally showed mercy. and that's when his set of problems surfaced.
* currently | as soon as he showed mercy through small acts of kindness towards the species his family fought against, he was ruled as a suspicion in carpe noctem. although he held a high position because of his blood and successful schemes, he was still treated as much as a threat as a lower-ranked with a secret or two coming to light. the moment his walls of his heart melted, he planned to travel to a relative's until he sorted out his alliance. however, his plans took a turn for the unexpected as he was attacked by a rogue vampire and found shelter in a human's abode.
