Ian was barely 16, when he was forced to join a cult by his father and is uncle. There he became a sub for several years, serving lots of people, doing dangerous scenes, and all that. Then when he turned 19, the cult decided that he had enough potential to go up the ranks. He got his marks (now covered by his tattoos) and started training the other subs and serving the s-typed ranked officials. Getting a bit of freedom from the promotion, he was able to leave the building as much as he wanted. He knew if he wanted to leave the cult he needed to start to hustling. Equipped with little to no experience and a highschool GED, wanting a quick buck, he knew where to go, luckily he was talented enough to get hired. Ian worked in a brothel whenever he had some free time. Going back and forth from the brothel to the building, for almost a year Ian managed save up enough cash to leave and move to another city, far away from the cult. Before he turned 21 in a new city, Ian managed to find a place to stay, with no other work experience, again he worked at a brothel but this time it  was one of the city's high-end pleasure palace. Things were going smoothly. Ian was getting paid a lot, he was experiencing the life he had only dreamed of. But then a year in... he ed with the wrong woman, and her dad wanted his head on a platter. Scared for his life, he decided to lay low and go into hiding. One day, when he thought the coast was clear, Ian headed out to the grocery to restock his rations. But with his luck as is he got spotted. Ian ran as fast as he could to get away, and eventually it was all to late for him. A shot was fired and everything was dark. He thought everything was done, but a suddenly there was burst of light. Only to wake him up in this place called the magic shop.
