Yoongi's Padlet

Magic runs through Yoongi's family. Their bloodline was known for their powers being passed down from generation to generation—never once dulling a little bit. But what people never realized, what at one point, the Mins were nothing. Farmers would could barely keep crops alive, slaves who waited on hands and knees for their masters. They lived life one day at a time, trying to survive.

The Min’s changed when his ancestor’s centuries before him lost their youngest child. An unfair death for a little child, they begged for justice. But because of their status…they were refused even hearing. They turned to anyone and everyone in hopes of finding justice and possibly to bring back their bundle of joy.

There was only one way, they found. Without questions they made a deal with the devil himself. It sounded rather easy and simple they thought. They would get great powers that could bring their child back to life (necromancy)…Under the condition that any of their future generations that spill blood would be his minions. They didn’t think twice because you know he has like hundreds of thousand minions anyway, what could be possible need the Min’s for? They were not going to kill anyone, they were kind people. So they thought they would be alright.

His ancestors practiced their dark magic and was able to raise their child from the dead. The first few weeks were the best—they finally had their son back and had cool magic powers alongside. They were able to use their powers for selfish ways (encouraged by their contract binder). They made a better life for themselves within weeks…. But as the weeks and months went by, they realized that their child…was not their child. It was not their loving angel, instead it was a dark and evil baby. The family couldn’t even last a year before the parents went crazy and killed the baby thinking it was for the best. From there, the Min generations following continued to spill blood, steal, cheat, and use their powers for evil.

The power ran through the cursed Min blood, all the way to Yoongi. The only fighting chance the family had to save themselves was because of Yoongi's great great great great grandparents. They searched far and hard for anyone who could break the contract and curse. They were able to find a very very powerful mage that practice white magic. Though it was nearly impossible, he was able to put a seal on the curse and deal. There would be no magic, or contract in use if the family stayed clear of bloodshed.He told the family, there is only one way to fully break the contract--a true human sacrifice. one with no ill intentions or greed. it had to be pure. until then, the curse would be dormant. For the future family member that did spill the blood, there would be literal hell to pay. They would have to make up for the all of the past generations weaseling out of their contract.

With the contract sealed, The Min family was able to live a normal life. Things were turning to be better for the family, and there was no worry about the future.


As if it was an omen to the world, Yoongi was born under a total solar eclipse. At first, the Min family was worried about their child. Worried that the curse would catch back up to them. But after meeting their beautiful bundle of joy---they thought it was a silly superstition.


Yoongi was only 7 when he was taken from his home. The moon was a magnificent bloody red as dusk approached. The Min family was thrown into a turmoil about the missing boy. They searched everywhere, scared and worried for the young powerless child.

A month later, on another blood moon, Yoongi found his way home. The family was shocked when their front door busted open and in walked Yoongi drenched in blood. His eyes no longer shined, and around him a black smoke danced. The aura of the once smiley and loving boy was much different and darker. They were quick to realize; the seal was now broken. At such a young age Yoongi held a lot of power. Though Yoongi never came out and explained what happened and how he was able to come back home, he still remembers it very clearly.

Yoongi was sent away to another powerful mage to try and harness his powers, seal them or anything to help the poor child. But out of his entire life, nothing has helped.

Going through Mage mentors one after another, there was no one to help him. His magic was to dark and different for them to help him. So, he ran away from home in search of someone who had magic like him. Someone that could help teach and guide him.

Though it took time, Yoongi found a dark mage. He became the mage’s apprentice and lover. He learned to harness his magic, find what he was good at and what he was bad at (which was a lot). The mage helped Yoongi grow, into the man he is today and Yoongi owed him his life. Which the mage took too seriously.

Yoongi stumbled upon his mentor’s journal one day. What was written inside fueled a fire inside Yoongi. The mentor only took Yoongi in as sacrifice. He was growing and fostering Yoongi’s powers for himself. When Yoongi would come of age, the mage would sacrifice him. He would use Yoongi in a ritual and then consume his blood---taking Yoongi’s youth, soul and power.

So, in a world where it is killed or be killed…Yoongi flipped the tables and outsmarted the mage. Two days later, Yoongi woke up the most refreshed and powerful he had ever felt in his life.

With the mage gone and his powers decently controlled, Yoongi was free to live his own life. He continued to practice his magic through the years.

Though the powers inside of him were dark, Yoongi was still a human at heart. He still yearned for affection, love family and friendship. Wanting these things, he began teaching people who had dark magic just like him or who wanted to know more about the dark arts
