expect the unexpected. don't get your hopes up,

it's what they all say,  what they all recommended to shy away from what life always produces: pain. 

but how do you say that to a newborn who's mother abandoned him within the newborn ward? no father in sight because the two were idiotic teens that got knocked up early becuase " protection, the pull out method works." that's the thing. you don't. instead, your at a loss of what to do, of where to send this child who lay alone with no visitors. you're at a loss of how to offer this child comfort, and warmth that a mother should be doing herself. so what do you do instead? you turn away yourself, back facing the problem of a whimpering child, you lay him in the arms of an orphanage and turn away once more, leaving the first memory etching within this child's mind a faceless figure walking away. 

it'll turn out to be his most loved painting one day, the image of the figure walking away from the opens arms of a child being painted upon a dirty canvas that represented his life. the numbers of retweets continued to raise, reblogs, and it was hung up in the 'rememberance' museum of his small town, earning him many awards from the art faction of his school. 

taehyung had grown to know the in's and out's of the foster care system, got to know city by city of america as families enveloped him within their warm embrace before returning him shortly after as if he was a single toy that's shiny on the outside but broken within. who would want that? something damaged, something ruined. 

"something that couldn't be fixed"

that phrase would stick with him even after adoption at the age of fourteen. the image of a figure walking away from him haunted his dreams even after finding solace within the form of art, within the horses that would help him believe that love actually did exist. but that's the thing, right? animals won't leave you behind. his horses would stay by his side, his paintings would represent his life.

taehyung, as expected, has attachment issues and refuses to go out of his way to make friends. he's not very talkative outside of his group (his frat) which has made him seem a bit more intimidating than he is. the boy wouldn't hurt a fly but people won't even give him the chance. he isn't ed up, he isn't un-fixable, he's a regular man looking for a chance. if you'd like to learn more about him, give him a shot.
