about me. Nawoo didn’t particularly grow up in a strict household but it was implied, as the only child, she would do her best to stay out of trouble you know the ol “don’t do drugs, kids!” and all that Jazz. Of course, kids still do drugs but that’s besides the point because Nawoo found a different drug if that’s even what one could call it. A drug that wasn’t technically pharmaceutic but it satisfied her “only child syndrome”: the moon. She found a home on the moon which saddened her terribly because getting there would be one hell of a trip. So she brought the Moon home instead and covered her room in space and galaxies. Growing up with an older cousin who had sufficed as the closest thing to a brother, it was him who actually got her interested in astrology. She became fascinated with zodiac signs, tarot cards, witches, you name it she knew all about them thanks to said cousin for all the story times and late night sleepovers. She could repeat back random facts to you about witches although, not in perfect order or the correct definitions but it was all there and she had good intentions. Nawoo could make you believe she knew what she was talking about by the sureness in her voice and the glare in her eyes although, it could be just complete bull but it’s all in the name of fun. As she got older, Nawoo choose Astrophysics as her college major. Her parents were very supportive of her goals though they couldn’t understand why she became interested in tattoos and witches. To put it simply she explained to them that you can’t have stars without wishes and without those, there’d be no magic and everyone knows the witches gave us magic. So when you see a star you have to thank a witch. As strange of logic as it was it made sense in her eyes. To make her vision crystal clear to everyone else, she expressed it through the form of art aka her tattoos and physical art works. She’s not extremely good at art and it tends to be abstract and odd and futuristic and dark and well....black. Something entirely different from her inward appearance but she dresses the way she does because she truly believes it’s how aliens would describe their fashion.

personality Not a morning person at all and would rather lay around all day until the moon comes up. At night is when she thrives. Listens to tons of music so when there’s a party she’ll probably be in charge of the aux.She eats nothing but junk food and drinks tea to keep her busy while she studies for another exam. Nawoo is that friend that you can ask her “do you have anything to eat?” And she’ll show you her backpack full of food instead of college work. A dumb smart nerd who knows knowledge about everything BUT astrophysics and struggles to focus although it’s her dream to work for NASA. Also part of the Ikigai robotics, Poetry Club, LGBT Alliance, Film Club, and Ikigai Art Exchange (president).

when you first met Nawoo she was the complete opposite of what you thought she would be. Somewhere between odd and colorful but not as bright as others and she shined differently than a typical nerd. You assumed she’d give you answers in class and in fact, she did. All of them for the homework and everything else you wanted the answers for, you guys were smooth sailing. What she didn’t tell you is: Nawoo has no idea what she’s doing. Failing classes left and right is a ritual. Even with C’s and F’s she still has a smile on her face like she’s winning the lottery and manages to still ask you, “wanna study again tonight?” Knowing damn well that you both are gonna fail the class if you don’t make at least a 100 on the final. Galileo would never.
