CHAE HYUNGWON

history
Hailing from a pure blood family, Hyungwon is a lone child long predicted to be in the house of slytherin among other things that, so far, have come to fruition. His mother is from american and attended Ilvermorny. Hyungwon himself nearly attended it too though with the insistence of his father was instead moved to England a year before his attendance at hogwarts.
Learning quickly at a young age that there was a distinct difference (according to his father) between pure bloods and the rest of the wizarding world, Hyungwon grew up under the lesson that he was naturally superior because of the blood that runs in his veins. However, and like his mother, Hyungwon did not agree with these sentiments but to keep the peace with his volatile father, learned from his mother how to play 'the game' and manage to dull his father into falsehoods of agreement with his ideology.
Instead, Hyungwon treats people the way he feels they deserve at the time, reacting according to how they treat him and certain situations. Perhaps one of the most laidback Slytherins that hogwarts has seen, it has not impacted his popularity with other students in his house and over the years, whilst he has no close friends, he doesn't really have enemies either.
With a special affinity for charms (particularly curses), Hyungwon grew up as his father had predicted with these skills. Witty and harboring a silver-tongue, Hyungwon often enjoys putting those both above and below his year in their place when they seem to think he's a pushover.
Now in his sixth year (19), Hyungwon has found himself coming under the increased watchful eye of his father who has plans for him the student has no interest in. You see, being a prefect for Slytherin isn't enough and neither is being the Slytherin seeker since his second year and winning them countless games because of it. Neither is how well Hyungwon excels in his lessons or only has the professors singing praises of him - its never enough for one man - his father.
Now 19, his father believes he's the perfect age to join in the cause for helping lord voldemort return as the rightful heir of salazar slytherin and "purify" hogwart's grounds. Having found his voice and pushed to breaking point, Hyungwon just barely manages to fight off his father's insistence on such a thing though he knows with just two years left in Hogwarts and time swiftly running out, its only a matter of seconds ticking by before he's dragged off into darkness.
