Mazikeen, frequently referred to as "Maze" for short, is the confidant and devoted ally of Lucifer. "Forged in the bowels of Hell to torture the guilty for all of eternity", Maze is an archdemon who, after having served for eons as his head torturer, accompanied Lucifer "through the gates of Hell", up to the earth, where he took form as the human known as Kim Taehyung. During his time in hell, he developed a certain taste for bloodlust and the screams of his human prisoners, making him quite fond of deriving pleasure from pain. Lucky enough for him, humans are often pushed to commit sin for their own pleasurable gain, leaving a constant flow of prisoners for Mazikeen to guard.

CURRENTLY

In the present, when Taehyung isn't terrorizing his human (of course), he works as a sort of freelance bounty hunter, seeking out those who deserve punishment according to Wu Yifan's request. His obsession with weapons and torture continues in his seemingly "human" life, whether that takes form during his hunts or his ual activities is to be seen. He finds humor in human activities, not really understanding why they do what they do, but he adapts easily to the new environments. His temper, though, causes problems from time to time, as he'll often throw a tantrum to expression his frustrations (mainly his jealousy for whomever steals Yifan's attention from him).

PERSONALITY

Mazikeen was one of Hell's most decorated torturers, inheriting a rather sadistic composure and sense of humor. Despite being seen upset in multiple encounters, Maze states to his human that 'demons don't get sad, they get mad'. He always entertains whatever sadistic ideas Yifan may have and is even when Yifan suggests torturing any enemies. It is even implied that he is partially a sadomasochist, remarking about how he "likes pain". Unlike Yifan, he preferred his position in Hell, having become dissatisfied with Earth and whatever fascination Yifan has with humans. Despite all of this, he is profoundly loyal to Yifan and whatever decisions that he makes, having left Hell to look after him and always nagging him for his own well-being. He would even fight and kill on his request, having shown up to rescue him whenever he needs. Mazikeen is similar to Lucifer in many ways. They are both confident, y, and sarcastic. They both disregard many social norms. Despite his bad boy attitude, he is revealed to be lonely, as he had no real friends until some humans. He is also ually promiscuous and has admitted he has had lots of with both men and women; Maze is so good he can turn a straight man. It is also implied that Maze and Lucifer were lovers at one point in their lives.
