ji changmin was born to a happy family of 5- except, he was the unhappy accident. because instead of being born to the actual mother and father of this family, he was born to the father an a goddess- namely aphrodite. he was regarded as a big mistake and a problem child from the moment he was born, but they at least decided to keep him and raise him.. decently, at least for the first few years of his life. but he was never looked at like his siblings, never looked at with full kindness, or babied and taken care of so attentively like they did to the others. his mother especially- maybe it was because he wasn’t really her kid, so she glared at him and got more fed up with him quicker than she ever would with the others. his dad was a little more sparing, but he still let his mom get away with all of the extra scolding, although changmin was the youngest in his family by multiple years- probably because he didn’t want to come off like he was defending his affair over his actual wife. changmin was used to creating excuses for their behaviour, used to finding ways to sympathize and excuse everyone for their treatment of him. it was as he became older that it became worse, though- he was almost treated like cinderella, being forced into doing all the chores for the family because well, his older siblings were apparently in areas of their life where it’s hard for them with school and all, and his parents had raised him for many years so how could he ask more from them? changmin knew things wouldn’t change and that if he complained, it’d just get worse- so he approached every day with a bright smile and listened to their words fully, creating reasons in his head to excuse their actions, even if his heart felt so void of emotion, void of any sort of affection. once he became an adult, the new gained freedom overwhelmed him, and he didn’t know what to do- just that he wanted to make a living and be able to fulfill all of his grandiose fantasies of love. maybe it was because the goddess of love is his mother, but he really had a thing for love- he’d get himself in small relationships that never really went anywhere a lot (mostly because he could never leave his house, so they’d only be able to meet for the short periods of time at school), and he always would imagine falling in true love at first sight, being swept off his feet by his ideal lover. so when he heard of a small town with a beautiful atmosphere, supernaturals and a local dating app- well, he just had to move there. that’s how he finds himself in magnolia springs, signed up to imperial and taking so many photos that he fills up memory cards by the day.

changmin is quite bright and friendly, bubbly, knowing that being bright makes the world feel a little bit better for him even if it isn’t. he’s also very affectionate, loving to spread love with others, and can also be somewhat flirty. he’s understanding, sympathetic, and bold too- although he's usually on the shyer side at first, when first getting to know someone. however, he’s also very nosey and overly curious, especially when it comes to relationships or what seems to be the blooming signs of love in his eyes. he’s also very protective and possessive of people that he’s close to, or who seem to care for him, as he never got such affection for long periods of time before. because of that, he’s very desperate for it to stay, causing him to take very drastic measures to keep everyone who comes by his side at his side, especially anyone he catches romantic feelings for.

someone tall with very sharp features, who has a very reliable sort of aura. they should be kind and especially n e e d to be loyal. It’d also be good if they are caring and maybe a little on the quieter side. maybe someone like a tsundere, who can be a little cold at first but is all sweet and romantic on the inner.
