naoki was raised in a family full of artistic talent. his mother a wedding photographer, and his father a successful interior designer. his family was loving and sweet, a rarity in his culture and one that he was incredibly thankful for at multiple points in his life. naoki was taught at a young age how to view the world as the beautiful creature that it was, to treat it and those who live amongst it with respect no matter what they may do to you in return.

it was due to his mother's business that he fell in love with fashion. he adored seeing the beautiful chiffon, ruffled tulle and lace, perfectly dolled up faces and exquisite twists of the hair... all to their customers satisfaction. for years he helped his mother prepare women and men alike for their long awaited day, accentuating their natural beauty and picking only the best fashion choices to help flatter their figure on their big day.

it was when he turned twenty one that he decided to follow in her footsteps, but in a different manner. he joined university with one big goal in mind; to become one of the best fashion designers around. he would make his parents proud.
