For someone who was born in a close-knit family of social butterflies, you could say Jongin was the odd one out. Favouring solitary over gatherings and playing with his brothers rather than other kids his age. he just found it easier to trust his siblings when he was young, every other person felt almost like a threat. however, he started adapting to social activities eventually with the help of a patient friend. He is quite introverted though he is anything but shy, purposive and unwavering once he's set his mind on something. Due to his counterpart, he is pretty nimble and light on his feet, hence the dancing major. He was always an active runner as a child, who grew to find pleasure in using such agility in dancing. at times, it was the only thing that interested him, which resulted in lower grades for his other subjects.  his parents weren't happy, to say the least. they expected him to excel like his brothers but his mind was elsewhere. whenever he tried to study, his thoughts would be too fast for him to keep up, to the point where they started invading each other, cutting off sentences and stuttering to try and maintain one thought at a time. this didn't quite go well with his parents' expectations. not when their older children never had such complications. all of which, suffocated Jongin into moving out of their house and into the university dorm.

He has a few spots on his chest matching his animal counterpart and a set of fangs he is reluctant to show due to its hostile look. His irises are a warm hazel hue, a mixture of light green and goldish brown.
