byun baekhyun is the youngest son of a heavily modified Elitian mother and a soldier of a human father. He seemed to have gotten the better end of the genetic game than his brother - stronger, faster, smarter than the others already at a young age. Since he was very young, Baekhyun had already established the notion that he was better than the rest. it helped that he grew up with the best role models anyone could've asked for in the galaxy. both his parents and his only sibling, his older brother, were in the bounty business. he grew up around knives and blood, unfazed with the sounds of torturous screams and pained yells. As horrifying as that could potentially have been for any plebian child, baekhyun thrived. why wouldn't he? his parents were kind and loving to him, and they had never waved anything sharp in his face. he wanted to be just like them when he grew up, he always said. in some ways, they are similar, but baekhyun grew to be more wild, more 'fun-loving'. he lived for the thrill of the hunt, toying with his victims like a cat with mice. 

it's a lawless jungle out in otklonit, but there was a position of power which baekhyun so desired. it was only a title, really, a formality - the ots were their own leader. but some power was still power, and baekhyun's had his eyes on the prize since he was a small child. for it, he trained and practiced day in day out, he lived and breathed the life of a fighter, a hunter. it'd taken a bit of a toll on him throughout the years. baekhyun developed a cynical and sadistic personality, and was known throughout the colonies as a psycho. he was the most reckless of the hunters yet quick qitted, brutal and lacking empathy - a dangerous combination. it wasn't until he'd reached his mid-twenties he finally acted, ignoring his family's pleas to let his silly dream go, to live their stable life with them. how could they even think to deter him like that? he'd worked his entire life for one thing, one thing only. There was nothing else, nothing more he desired than this.

year 3039, Baekhyun armed himself with his trusty pair of twin blades, his weapon of expertise, and marched into the otklonit headquarters and levelling his sword with the leader's throat, challenging her for her position. that was just how htings went around otklonit, except the leader had been in power for decades. she was in her prime, and no one dared challenge for slightly better living conditions and a throne of scrap metal. she commanded more fear than respect, and baekhyun admired her for that. she was slain easily, too easy for baekhyun who decapitated her and paraded her severed head on the end of his sword in a grosteque display of power. Since then, baekhyun's lounged at the top, a shining symbol of the bloodlust of the ots in the wasteland they called home.
