Future author, historian and former student of iHybrid.

Soohyun had always been a clever kid, but struggled with many aspects of his life. Growing up alone with his sickly mother, he never got out to socialize with the other kids in the neighbourhood. His mother schooled him at home, planting the seeds of love for history at an early age.

Despite his ears having been from his hybrid-nature from birth, his mother had never treated him as anything but her son. Other people saw it a bit differently. The few times he ever interacted with anyone they called him a freak and whispered behind his back. It caused him to feel isolated from others, only having his mother to confide in.

Things changed for the better when he found out about iHybrid. The school was perfect for someone like him, giving him the opportunity to learn even more than he had from his books, and to do so in an environment that was safe for someone of his kind.

His school years were anything but mundane. He met several colorful characters in his best friend Hanbin, his crush Hyuna and his stoic roommate Intae. They were all somehow parts of his highs and his lows through his studies, ensuring no day was ever the same.

But all studies come to an end, and so did his. He moved on to find his calling in life. It had long been a dream of his to go exploring, uncovering the history and legends of the past on wild adventures, though he had never been the most outgoing guy. Yet, his knowledge was vast, and he managed to get a small publishing deal for an academic book about Greek Myth using the newest data and speculations from professors around the world.

Books are however quite timeconsuming to write, and Soohyun needed some way of supporting his work. He reached out to the one place he knew he would be accepted, and landed himself a part time job at iHybrid, teaching in the very topic he was writing about.

Soohyun is anything but a social butterfly. Where some would love being the center of attention, there was nowhere Soohyun liked more than the back of the room by himself.

Quiet and contemplative, he is one who choses his words carefully before speaking. He often comes off as uncertain, always wanting others to be happy, even at his own expense.

Though he is emotionally withdrawn, it is much due to how sensitive he can be. His heart is big, but it makes him an easy target for pain. He easily gets shy, pulling back from situations others would find easy.




Like his animalistic counterpart, Soohyun is mostly nocturnal. He does his best work at night, leading to him often being tired in the daylight hours. Where he would often fall asleep in class when he was younger, he now fuels himself with coffee to get through the day, sneaking in small naps where possible.
His hair is a dark red hue, with hints of black throughout. Amongst it all are two fuzzy white ears, often hidden within the shaggy hair around it unless he's startled or relaxed. The canines in his mouth are slightly larger than average, perfect for eating both fruits and meat. Patches of skin on his face are of a slightly paler complexion, mimicking the facial patterns of the Red Panda.

A once hopeful Soohyun had one time thought to himself that he had found the perfect girl, and that nothing could get more right in his life. Little did he know that he would never be able to fully satisfy with how timid he was, and said girl left his heart in pieces.

Failed attempts to bring another spark to his dying flame left the man realizing that he was never meant for love, and instead shifted his focus towards his academic work. It was tangible and dependable, the one thing he was truly good at.

If love was to come to him, it would have to be the one knocking. Life could not be put on the backburner so that he could woo a potential mate. If they were right for him, he'd know with time.
