MINGHAO HAD STARTED OFF WITH MARTIAL ARTS AT THE AGE OF FIVE AND ENTERED CHAMPIONSHIPS, WINNING FIRST PLACE. IN SCHOOL, HE WAS AT THE TOP OF HIS CLASS, ALWAYS NUMBER ONE IN HIS YEAR AND STUDIED HARD TO GET THAT POSITION. HE HAS ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A SINGER AND KNEW HE COULD NOT ACHIEVE THAT GOAL IN CHINA, SO HE DECIDED TO GO TO SOUTH KOREA IN ORDER TO GET WHAT HE WANTED.
 
HE IS NOW PART OF SEVENTEEN WHO IS UNDER PLEDIS ENTERTAINMENT. SURROUNDED BY WONDERFUL BAND MEMBERS AND MEETING SEVERAL NEW PEOPLE. HE THINKS OF SEVENTEEN AS HIS FAMILY INSTEAD OF BUSINESS AND PROMOTES THEM IN CHINA EVERY CHANCE HE GETS.

Minghao is quiet, sassy, but soft man. He never really speaks up much unless the conversation interests him or he simply feels comfortable with whoever he is around. He loves to do pranks or mess with people that are close to him. He has a sense of humor, it just takes a few tries. He knows he's very good looking and secretly loves it when people point it out, but on the outside, he tends to blush and get shy. The many compliments that have been said to him still make him blush and grow shy. As friends he loves to make new friends, he just hopes they understand that he has a mouth on him.
