There's never an agreement on how gods and myths came to be, and as such Hongjoong didn't exactly know either. It was too long ago. He'd just appear sometimes, the manifestation of a wind somewhere in the world, other times summoned from malicious spirits. Whatever it was that he was supposed to do, he did. The life wasn't bad, he enjoyed all the mischief and the freedom, but then one day even the wind got tired. He'd wandered for far too long without stopping, wandering between worlds and lifespans until finally, Hongjoong found Magnolia Springs. Like always, he never knew how long this run would be before everything changed. But for now, it was nice. And the wind was always up here. 
Hongjoong overall is a big softie. He's warmhearted and caring, sometimes to the point where it's almost overbearing. He tends to be detail oriented and focused, but sometimes this translates to an unforgiving search for perfection. And much like his work, he's quite stubborn about everything else, too. It's actually quite difficult to break down his walls, as he functions on the motto that the less people know, the better. However he treats everyone with the same cheery disposition that it's actually quite hard to realize that he has his guard up. He's empathetic to others, but likes to store his own thoughts and feelings inside all bottled up. Well, most of the time. If you touch his base lines or annoy him when he's tired and irritated, then Hongjoong gets quite snappy. 
ideal type: As a person who's never really had somewhere he belonged, Hongjoong's looking for security and a home in somebody, even if he doesn't quite know it yet. He wants somebody who can understand and take care of him occasionally, after he stresses over other people all the time. He'd like somebody who can tease and handle teasing, but also wants a bit of possessiveness. Most importantly, Hongjoong's ideal type is somebody who can understand him and love him. Physically, there aren't many requirements, but he would like somebody taller than him.
