Born and raised in Seoul alongside her twin sister, Minseon was the daughter to a lawyer and a nurse. Minseon grew up in a comfortable life but found herself infatuated with music in all it's forms. 

Almost as soon as she turned 14 Minseon started auditioning for a number of talent companies though most rejected her. The first that accepted her was a small company that ended up bankrupt a year into her trainee after the group that they'd pinned their hopes on failed to generate sales.

Minseon went back to auditioning to a variety of companies whilst working in a warehouse to earn a living, and eventually she was accepted into Indigo.

Minseon is a confident girl who has no issues with acting a fool in front of people, and as such she tends to be pinned as a clown. Despite this she's determined and knows when it's necessary to start being serious and sensible.

She's fairly outgoing and has never really had any issues when it comes to making friends.
