originally born in Chongqing, xiao binjing lived there until he was three. his mom wasn't able to keep him with her as she was struggling to keep a stable job and a roof over their heads. her parents didn't want some illegitimate child under their roof so he was sent to a home. Two years later, binjing was taken in by a young couple in Canada and lived there for three years until his birth dad found out about it. The man brought him to Beijing after a month and a half. He had trouble fitting in at school. His home life wasn't the best either. He was often ignored by his dad and when he wasn't, there was abuse. The next ten years of his life was a total nightmare. Even after his younger half brother joined the family, the abuse didn't end. When he was twelve, his dad passed away. People said it was a suicide but he knew better but he didn't care.

Binjing was left in the care of one of the many maids and a butler. He soon got into acting and joined a small company in Beijing, becoming a trainee for a few months. Binjing wasn't the happiest.

He is always joking and having fun but deep down inside, he is just a complete mess. he is emotionally unstable and once he is fond of a person, he starts to cling to that one person. he often comes across as either very playful, kind and caring or over confident depending on the occasion. people thought he was bipolar but he wasn't. Brendan just has troubles controlling his emotions.
