Sunmi's life is not bright as it seems, she had a family that never took her as one of them. Her father always treat her like a trash in their family, Sunmi has a brother who doesn't like having a sister like her. When sunmi tells her father what she wants, she was just shoved or pushed by him. A step mother who only cares for both of her father and brother and made her a servant in their own home, Sunmi even gets bullied by her brother and his friends in school. At her 18th birthday, her whole family were on vacation without her, they only left her anough money for her needs. Sunmi only bought a cake for herself and cleaned the house before chanting a happy birthday to herself it was depressing but at least she has her time alone. Then suddenly, someone knocked the door and Sunmi walks to see a beautiful woman weating black trench coat in front of the door, the woman greet her happy birthday with a gift box on her hands. At first, Sunmi was confused and told the woman she might be in a wrong house but the woman told her name. Then she gave her a gift and sunmi take it before opening it, then she saw an orb that looks like a snowball then she smiled at it. Sunmi was going to thank the woman when she was already gone.
After her birthday, Sunmi always bring the orb whenever she goes, it is like her good luck and she's feeling a bit better with it. Until one day, her brother sneaked into her room and saw the orb then takes it from her then he broke the orb in front of her. Sunmi felt the surge of anger before she bursted in tears and shadows emerged from her own and ingulfed them, scaring the brother and ran to his room. Sunmi noticed that it was her own shadows that scared off her brother. Sunmi ran and got into another person who is a demigod who wants her to move to the camp and Sunmi did, she moved to the camp. Every now and then, she studied and went to law school until she graduated. She got a job as a police inspector but still going home to Camp half-blood every time she finished one case or more.
