From the beginning, Dohee's life was never an extremely easy one. Her mother died giving birth to her and, while she still had her father who loved her more than life itself, he was barely around due to his job as a detective. Still, she had a relatively happy childhood; her little family wasn't rich, but they weren't struggling either; she made friends easily wherever she went; and her school breaks were always spent with her grandparents at the Busan farm her dad grew up on. Unfortunately, her little world was shattered when she was 10 years old. On one particularly cold night in February, while waiting at a neighbor's house for her dad to return home from work, the older woman received a call from his unit with the news that he'd been killed in action. After traveling to the city for the funeral, her grandparents, with the help of neighbors, packed up the apartment and took Dohee home with them. From there, she grew up on the farm. Dohee, however had a serious case of big city dreams. She always loved dancing, singing, and acting and was often cooed at by the residents of the little town, being praised as a triple threat and someone who would make it far one day. When she was 14, she moved back to Seoul to pursue an idol career against the wishes of her grandparents who were wary of the hardships they always heard about trainees and idols facing. She was signed to a pretty small company and trained for years; hardships she certainly faced. The company was borderline abusive with their regulations and working conditions and the living conditions weren't much better. All eight of the female trainees lived together in a little two bedroom apartment and they often had to pay for their own meals and utilities, most of them working part-time jobs to cover these expenses while still adhering to strict training schedules. Still, Dohee figured that's how all trainees lived, so she toughed it out, eventually debuting in a trio called Fermata at 18. This was very short-lived life event though as they got into a major car accident on the way to a music show a little over a year after debuting due to reckless fans' attempts to get closer to them. Fermata's leader died on the way to the hospital, unfortunately, leaving the others behind with serious injuries and heavy hearts. Though Dohee is long-healed physically, she'd never quite been able to rid herself of the emotional wounds and could never bring herself to continue her career. She left her company a few months after the accident and spent a few years working quietly as a waitress for a nightclub. The club shut down recently due to money laundering and illegal operations during the day, so Dohee was left jobless for a while. She moved back home and simply helped out around the farm and at the market so she wouldn't have to use her little savings on rent. Still, her money would run out eventully and she had to support her family. She applied for a number of jobs but they either wouldn't take her with her lacking experience and education or they filled the position with someone "better." Even other waitressing jobs claimed no vacany and she began to suspect it was her link to her previous job, one of the involved parties having the same initials as her. When she was about to give up, she found an urgent wantad for managers at Elevate. She removed her previous job from her CV and applied immediately. Despite being hesitant to step foot anywhere near the entertainment industry, Dohee has to pay for her now ill grandmother's hospital bills and she's convinced herself that maybe confronting her demons a little will help rid herself of them.

Personality: Despite her serious-looking outer shell, Dohee is a major softy. She's kind, receptive, and gentle with pretty much everyone unless they've proved themselves undeserving of that kindess. She loves to cook, bake, crochet, do photography, and walk her dog in her free time. Naturally, Dohee has her dark periods. There are times when she has phantom pains. There are times when she can't even get herself to roll out of bed. Death anniversaries are especially bad, including her birthday; however, besides her former members, she doesn't care about anyone as much as she cares for her family and she knows she has to make money to support them and give back everything they sacrificed to raise her.

before you approach me...
• read my character's profile in full
• try to have at least a tiny idea of something we can build from
• don't be afraid to approach! i'll probably never say no

writing/plotting style...
• primarily third pov, whether it's script or para
• that said, i do script or semi para/para. never novella but i also don't try to match. don't feel like you need to either
• quality always over quantity

activity reply speed...
• reply speed varies based on muse, mood, and busyness
• i edit and tutor for writing for a living so i get burnt out reading blocks of text
• never poke me before a week

location preferences...
• rooms over walls, walls over pms
• sometimes i like to move rooms as the plot calls for it, it's immersive

miscellaneous...
•any that occurs must be naturally occuring, i don't usually plot it
• any should never be with minors
• we also don't have to because a plot can still go on with implied , i'm all for skipping it if you want
