Background:
As a phoenix, every 500 years he dies and gets reborn, knowing nothing of his past lives.
This time the phoenix got reborn as a male named Armand. He grew up an ordinary traditional family and lived quite a harmonical life in a small village, he got married there to a woman his parents approved off and even raised one son Lucas together. It took a while for him to figure out there was something 'wrong' with him. It all started by the family friends praising his good condition or asking how comes he keeps his youthful looks which became more frequent with the passing years. Looking into the wrinkly faces of his balding friends, it became more and more evident he's strangely staying untouched by the time and he eventually was forced to leave his family, as the attitudes of everyone in the town, including his wife, turned into a distrust and suspicion. He moved far enough where no one would know him, uncovering his actual uality as well and the only person he stayed in touch at least through the mail was his son who tried to find some explanation for this and it was also his son who found out about Magnolia Springs and the existence of other supernatural creatures. After Lucas died at respectful age of 91, Armand eventually decided to take his advice and move over to Magnolia Springs to maybe find answers to the questions about his own identity but mostly, to be in the presence of others who do not quite fit into the human world just like him.
