Kim ryeowook was born with a disorder called Choroideremia. It in summery causes blindness over time. Most people who have it are male and wont loose their eye sight fully until they are in late adulthood however that was not the case for ryeowook. It started with night blindness as a young child and just got worse and worse by the time he was 14 he had completely gone blind. Music was always something important to ryeowook he was already creating his own music at the age of 9 though not perfect he had something. He knew how to play the piano and knew a whole lot about music in general. When he lost his vision it took a while but he soon got back into making music he knew he could trust his ear when it came to pitch and tone. When he graduated high school he started really trying to put his music out there it wasn't until a family friend recommended him to write for an entertainment company he wrote a few hits but he had consistent work.
