Background: Gain was raised off the island with her small family, a colony of sorts, though it's much too small to be that. They fastened their homes in the rivets and divots of the rising and falling terrain, keeping one with the nature and magic that birthed them. But after a scrap with a neighboring faerie tribe, Gain was left with no one other than her cousin, aged 20 years older than her, he became her father figure. But seeing as how she hadn't met others of her kind, she began to loathe her being. She even went as far as to cut off the tips of her pointed ears in her teenaged years. Nothing can hide the slight tint of iridescent pink her skin has when it hits the sun, though. And no matter how often she dyes her hair, it will always come back to the pale blonde it was at birth. And even though she tries to hide, she can't touch iron, or she'll burn her skin (that doesn't mean she doesn't try anyway). This has led her to the island. Estranged from her cousin after a huge argument, Gain hides under a playful persona, surrounded by natives to the island, as a stranger floating among a sea of families. And now somehow, she's here, on a dating app.

Personality: Gain is very reserved and closed off. She doesn't like people knowing she's a supernatural and tries to pass off as human. Where she came from, her kind weren't welcome, so even though she knows it's okay here, she has a hard time opening that part up. She's quirky and loves to crack jokes. Sometimes can be seen as moody. Loves candy. Hates chocolate. Very defensive at times.

Ideal type: Gain's ideal type is someone patient, but also as bull headed as she is and persevering and stubborn enough to not let her exterior fool you. Someone who likes to play games and enjoy a night out, who's a little frisky in and out of the bedroom. She doesn't like boring; she needs something to keep her spiced up all the time. Big adventures and grand gestures.
