Long ago, there was once a dragon named Velkhana who was one of the elder dragon. She lived within the highest surface which is the tibetan highlands where Mount Everest is located, she has wings that brings the coldest breeze with her, scales almost frozen yet it is hard like a diamond, eyes were sharp and and icy blue, her breath could change the weather into a cold one and her presence gives a cold and chilly feeling whenever you came contact with her. However, her reign of peace went downwards when a group of powerful creatures ravaged the village which she cared for so many years... Velkhana cared for those people yet she came out of her sanctuary and protects the people however she was too weak and taken down by a dragon. She couldn't protect the people she loved and was forced to be trapped in her own sanctuary...
Many years has passed, there are groups of adventurers who wanted to know the secret of the mount Everest and one of those was a korean named Son Seungwan. She was just a novice adventurer with a few experience of venturing isolated places. Seungwan was only 19 years old when she and the others went on an expedition to the mount everest. An avalenche came from the weak side of the mountain, killing most of the adventurers but Seungwan found a cave and hide there. Then she encountered an ice sanctuary within the mount everest and the large gate opens and where she saw the elder dragon. Velkhana looked into her eyes and found something that she is the one who will keep her alive, the dragon stood up and makes a proud roar yet it makes the girl afraid more. The dragon starts to became an entity and possessed Seungwan, at first the girl was in pain but afterwards she fell unconscious, letting the dragon merged her soul with Seungwan's and became the vessel.
Few years later, Seungwan survived the avalanche and now travelling the world with Velkhana. But she encountered another dragon which she made misunderstood with and fought each other but only to be seen by many people before she and Velkhana flies to the island unknown to the most of the population of the world, it is the knightmare island.
