Biography: People would say that a bite from Hyejoo’s gooey brownies or a spoon from her delicate creme brûlées were enough to make anyone revel in the tingle they felt after. Rumors had it that her Valentine's cookies could make the receiver fall in love. Many of her customer simply deduced the feelings felt to the dedication of the girl, some blamed drugs. However, the only person who could tell you the truth was Hyejoo. In fact, her pastries weren’t normal— not until she discovered a secret. 

Her father worked hard to provide a living for her family. He specialized in bread, bread that was so good that he had numerous secretive buyers he would never speak of. When questioned, his answer was always “it brought food to our table” and although Hyejoo believed it, she was always the curious type. As months went by, Hyejoo came to learn that in exchange for his bread, her father had been allowed to learn the art of potion making from three powerful witches. Before his death, he had handed her a book with all the knowledge he had learnt and with that, Hyejoo had successfully continued her father’s business. The potions she used were just enough to give any human a sense of magic but not strong enough to harm them. Unfortunately, other business owners were not happy and they launched an investigation on her bakery, therefore, Hyejoo had to pack up and move to Magnolia Springs.
