Background wise, he's got an absent father, having been raised by his mother(who, in this rp, replaces Anna Wintour in terms of fame and occupation) who is pretty.. terrible, tbh. Like i mentioned in his personality, he lacked a lot of intimacy in his life since she was very hands off and career driven; he sometimes suspects that she didn't want him in the first place but for whatever reason, she did. The only 'motherly' advice she ever gave him were 'helpful' tips about his appearance which has led to his not so secret but still kind of hush hush eating disorder(he doesn't care about it, it's just another part of life to him). He started working when he was around 12 and did his first open for Ralph Lauren when he was 15, he's pretty consistently been on magazine covers and does pretty much every runway show he physically can; if I had to compare his fame level to a real world example, he'd be similar to Adriana Lima and Alessandro Ambrosio.

For Taehyungs character, I've drawn a lot of inspiration from Blair Waldorf and Chanel Oberlin; he's kind of(not kind of, he's 100%) a to everyone and generally gives off a vibe that he thinks everyone is dirt underneath his feet. He's haughty, manipulative and has an incredibly confident exterior to hide the fact that he's horribly insecure. He's a smart guy but logic tends to fly out the window when he gets passionate about something, particularly when it comes to beating his rivals, he's not a stranger to using dirty/under-handed tactics to get what he wants. Despite all this, he's fiercely loyal and protective, he doesn't trust easily so doesn't really have a lot of people he'd consider close friends so if his trust in you gets broken, he snaps. But he's somebody that if you're lucky enough(and can deal with his y attitude) to be considered an actual friend by him, you know you've got somebody who will do quite literally anything short of murder(and even then it's debatable) to keep you safe and happy. He also tends to mother his friends a lot since he didn't really have that kind of role model so to make up for the loss of intimacy, he's quite touchy with people(whether it's fussing over their hair or just friendly touches in general) or he seeks out relationships that he knows isn't healthy.

- straight up; i'm ing slow with my replies. i'm a huge procrastinator and since i have five characters, that's made it even worse.
