felix never exactly grew up in the most supportive home. even though he had always had an eye for fashion, for clothes, for putting things together and making it pop, his father was not on board. he insisted that his son do something meaningful with his life, like going into law or business of some kind, rather than doing something so girly as fashion design.

but he wanted to, ever since he was in high school. felix's mother was very supportive of what he wanted to do, but she knew how stubborn her husband could be: once he had something in his mind, there was no way it was going to change. throughout high school, and taking classes to further his passion for fashion and the like, felix had to jump through plenty of hoops to get things done. going over a friend's house to do projects, finding his mother alone in order to get signatures for teacher notes, pretending to be taking more "sophisticated" classes for his father's sake. thankfully, through his high school years, he had never gotten caught. his mother mad sure of that.

going to university was going to be different. his father was insistent on what classes the boy would take, even so much to the point that he told him he was going to sit with him when signing up for classes. felix felt his heart drop when his father tore up the acceptance letters from various schools focused on his dream job and passion, and when he was slid an acceptance letter to heart of gale acadame, he knew he was never going to get what he wanted. he was a senior when he felt his world crash.

there were plenty of nights where felix was left sitting on the edge of his best friend's bed, on the verge of tears because he knew he could never do what he wanted, not with how overbearing his father was. despite trying to think of ways to get around it all, it wasn't long before he gave up on that idea. that is, until his mother came to him with a plan.

she had the brilliant of idea of having felix essentially lie to his father. there was no way he'd be able to one hundred percent have his way, but there were ways around it, just like how they had done in high school. so they devised a plan: felix would go to the school his father wanted, and they would figure out a way to make sure he could still take the classes he wanted and somehow keep his father out of his business. it took a lot of finagling, especially with the staff of the university, but once classes finally started, felix was secured. he was going to do exactly what he wanted, with the love and support of his mother.

his father still thinks that felix is going into school for law, to be a lawyer. he honestly thinks that his major is law, and minor is economics. felix chooses not to go home whenever he can, often lying to his father that he has "school work" to tend to and can't afford to be distracted by anything. in reality, he's just hanging out with his best friend, avoiding confronting his father at ever opportunity.

felix doesn't normally lie. if anything, he usually tries to keep himself from doing so, because he knows it's not good. but in order to save his skin (in terms of his father), he does what he has to. he's a very gentle and sweet soul, usually always smiles and happiness as long as he's not too stressed. felix has a habit of people watching, especially since he likes to design clothes (he has a sketchbook on hand at all times so that he can doodle if need be) and he's always open minded to new things.he's very passionate about what he loves, and though he can be a bit daydreamy, he's usually focused and determined.
