Personality:

Seemingly to be cold and merciless towards anyone at all times, it was all just his way of doing things to protect himself but all would be different once he gets to know that person more and when it is comfortable for him, his true dorky, caring, empathetic self would show. Always on the edge as he is very competitive, there are occasions that he would let it get the better of him as he strives to win for most of the time. The lesson he learned was that there are times in which he has to lose the battle to win the war. He is very witty and cunning in his own ways to get what he wants at times, learning how manipulation could be a double edged sword, he is always cautious and meticulous of how he does things. 

Background:

Having a profession surrounded by game as a professional league gamer for a very popular MMORPG game back home, it was easy to say that he loved gaming for almost all his life. He has exposed himself to all genres of games since he was a child, proficient in most with a strong reputation of his own, dominating leaderboards when it comes to his character’s power even without spending money in the game. There wasn’t a type of game that involves leaderboards of skill and strength that he wasn’t in. Yibo has a keen interest in anything that people think of it as a challenge. Leader of his alliance in the professional league after the previous leader stepped down from his position, he has proven himself to be a formidable opponent to all and shown everyone why he was at the top of the game he had dedicated most of his time discovering and allowing himself to be better through every little gimmick that he could find. 

Yibo has come to discover this particular game when he was about to download a new game on his laptop to test out before deeming it to be worthy enough for his personal desktop. A habit that he has to make sure that he doesn’t waste any free space on something that isn’t interesting to him. As he was waiting for the download to complete, he stumbled across an advertisement for a new MMORPG game in which peaked his interest towards. Not knowing what to expect, he clicked on it without thinking much just as though he was drawn to it by force. Landing himself in the game world that he didn’t actually minded all that much as he could finally experience it first hand rather than sitting behind the screen to dominate a similar genre game all the time. A real challenge this time.

Character:

Entering the game, he was presented with different classes and its subraces. Yibo has to admit that he was surprised that many elaborate choices he has with a ‘blank character’ that has no face value for the time being. He was tempted needless to say to pick something unusual but settled with something that he was most confident with, close combat was his speciality. Speed and being a jack-of-all trade in weapons was something that he knew could allow him to survive. From what he read from the advertisement, he wasn’t ready to risk it all with something that he isn’t familiar with. Selecting his class and subrace, he stepped into the game world with nothing apart from his vast knowledge in games and his own ability to adapt.
