— very out-going and loud, can be very dense and slow on social cues

— determined in his abilities but shows a different perspective from his family

— dislikes competition and rivalry due to the hostility of his siblings

— tends to get nervous a lot, has the tendency to show fear in superiors

background ;

— an earth and metal bender in a pureblood military family.

— family is very well known for their power, considered one of the most powerful families.

— mark is the youngest out of his three siblings, he happens to be the strongest out of all of them. each sibling are roughly two years apart from each other. due to his ability, his siblings envy him; he isn't close with any of them.

— both of his parents are high ranks in the military, including his siblings who tail behind. he is considered to match his parents' ranking because of his high skill in metal bending.

— everyone expects mark to join the military too, but he refuses to do so. forces to attend meetings and events with his family. he gets many offerings during these occassions, but he rejects all; his parents has extreme disapproval of his actions.

— wants to be a college professor, currently completing graduate school. however, he is actually considering to join the military in order to fight against his parents' views.
