A Successor. That was all Mingyu's family wanted when they chose to have a child. With a workoholic father and a gold digger mother, All they wanted was a successful son who would achieve greatness and wealth by any means necessary. With that, Mingyu was raised very strictly and was not given much time to interact with his peers in between cram schools and internships, causing his relationships and conversation skills to be a bit lackluster.
Currently, Mingyu is both a full time finance student an intern in the OSEI accounting department, looking to get as much experience as possible before taking over his father's accounting firm in the near future. He would never dare tell his family his secret truth, that he loves working at OSEI because of his silent dreams of becoming an webtoon creator.

Many people see Mingyu as the cool, quiet type due to his aloof demeanor and good looks. in reality, though, years of being left to his own devices has left him painfully antisocial, thus having an incredibly hard time opening up to people. this is amplified in the workplace, as his family was always so strict about professionalism. It can be really, really hard to get to know the real mingyu, but with enough dedication you will see that he's actually a gentle giant who loves all things creative, and wants to break out of his strict confines. His biggest secret is his panic disorder he developed in high school, making it quite difficult to break his routine, have eyes on him (i.e. presentations or even someone coming up to chat with him), or break the rules he's set for himself.

Worst Qualities: Brutally honest, Hates groupwork, hates not being in charge due to his specific style

Mingyu is biual and demiromantic, meaning he could fall for anyone if they take the chance to really get to know him. However, he doesn't have any dating history aside from a few college flings. Since he's a bit quiet, his ideal would be someone sweet, persistant, and bubbly who could knock down all of his barriers and love him, faults and all.

⇢ You think I'm one of the new art interns and before I can explain myself I'm being told to draw up my rendition of you. I think you're cute and I kinda wanna talk to you so I keep my mouth shut about the error...but now I've been sketching you for half an hour and it's legitimately terrible because I am definitely not in the arts department...

⇢I'm late for work and aggressively pressing the elevator's 'door close' button in your face. You get in somehow anyways and punish me by pressing every. single. button. I guess we have to get to know each other because this elevator is notoriously slow and we have to get up 16 floors.

⇢ I scold you at work but I wasn't expecting you to cry and now I'm desperately trying to comfort you in my own, awkward way.

You're the first person in this company that Mingyu's really grown fond of. Every morning he walks in to be greeted by your gentle "hey, sunbae", and a simple gesture of black coffee. Whether this was a little crush or simply your way of trying to get to know the stubborn boy, your persistence was quite surprising as a normal person would drop the kindness after only receiving a curt nod in response for months now. At this point, Mingyu wouldn't know what to do without your morning pick-me-up. When he finds out that you might be thinking of switching companies, he finally bites the bullet and curbs his antisocial tendencies to talk to you.
