+ yang yang, the magician. he always has a trick up his sleeve. he's a liar, a con artist, a nomad. he rarely ever stays in one place for too long, but he comes back to the places that he enjoys. although he's a human, his favorite audience had always been vampires. there was that little rush of danger he had every time he'd show them a trick and oh boy was he an adrenaline junkie. if it weren't for his quick hands and tricky ways, he'd definitely be some vampire's snack right now.

1991 - 1994 (ages 0 - 3) early childhood: his parents were runaways. they were teenagers when they had him and they were deeply in love. yang has no idea if he has any extended family, but his parents gave him all of the love he needed in their small studio apartment.
1995 - 1999 (ages 4 - 8) childhood: things were actually looking good for his parents during this timeframe. his father had just gotten a pretty well-paying job and his mother was going back to school to get her degree as yang started school. this small little family really thought the turn of the millennium was going to change things for the better, but little did they know what was going to come up next. the fear of yk2 had spread among some people, including vampires. they didn't know what would happen in the next millennium, so they panicked. and began to turn others into vampires in the fear that the end was near. this included yang's father, who returned home for new years eve bloodthirsty. he knew that he was turning, but he couldn't miss out on quality time with the family that he loved. he begged to the gods (nana) to let him at least see the new millennium with his family before fully turning - and he got his wish, only to be unable to resist his wife during their new year's kiss, feeding on her in front of yang, who had closed his eyes to the sight of his parents kissing, but had opened them as he heard the sound of a vampire feeding. his father stopped as he realized what he was doing, understanding the monster that he had become, the sight of his drained wife in front of him. she looked so frail and weak and her pulse was weakening by the second. the only way he could save her was to turn her, and so, he did - but he knew she'd wake up a bloodthirsty beast, and he couldn't even think about either of them hurting their little boy, so he turned to young yang yang and told him, "you stay here, okay? me and mommy are going to be back, so be good and don't move from here." yang hesitated, as he was scared of being home without his parents, he wanted to tag along with them too, despite knowing what they had turned into. but his mother, weakened from the wound on her neck, had touched her hand on his cheek, warm and large against his young cheeks, and told him with her sweet, motherly tone, masking her exhaustion, "we'll just be a moment, okay, yang? we'll be back, so stay while we go out for a bit, okay?" and he understood, unable to go against his mother's words and stayed exactly where he was.

+ tips & tricks to taming me as a rping partner +
start small + it takes me a couple replies to get the ball rolling, but once i get the ball rolling, it doesn't stop. please start small because my replies tend to get longer and longer and the longer my replies get, the longer it takes for me to reply, especially during busy parts of the year.
feed me + feed me compliments and attention but don't overfeed me or i'll end up kissing my own reflection instead of replying. use compliments to get replies from me. for example: "nana you're so gorgeous but you'd be more gorgeous if yOU'D EVER ING REPLY TO OUR DAMN THREAD" guilt trip me into replying, please. i'm begging you.
understand + i am baby. my hand needs to be held. i have the attention span of a goldfish. i will plot out 500 things with you and will only get through 1/4 of one thing before jumping onto the 10th thing on our list. baby.
small talk + don't butter me up with small talk, get right into the small details of our plot ooc if you want me to get the muse to reply.
