Daphne Hwa, or just dayong by her aunts and uncles, is the younger of two kids. She is born in Pohang, South Korea but lived in Aukland, New Zealand since she was three. There, she made many friends who encouraged her to sing even though she was never good at it. Daphne was more of a rapper but never really showed that side of herself to her friends or her parents. Only her brother, who was the one who convinced her to move back to South Korea, knew about this skill. Along with her brother, she would put on mini concerts for family during the holidays when they visited South Korea or when they visited them in New Zealand. Daphne was very happy and enjoyed having all eyes on her.
