she had decided to take a human form, live an immortal human life, after the weakening of the gods began. she could not bare to grow weak in front of her peers, and had gone off on a quest of her own, to get her powers back, all of their powers back. she stays out of the celestial city for the most part, masquerading on earth as a cia black operative for the Americans, traveling under a fake human name, and made up human life. she used her human occupation as cover to search the entire globe for answers. but after many years of searching she came up mostly empty handed.
a human form does nothing to temper the true nature of a goddess, in fact one might say it inflamed it even more. human emotions were vast and powerful in their own right, mixing that with the caprcious heart of a celestial being could only spell trouble. in stories passed down through the ages, sekhmet is described as a true wildcard, her wrath and emotions as unpredictable and untameable as a wild-fire. the egyptians oftened compared her to the scorching mid-day sun, when the day was at its hottest and driest. the lioness was polarities made manifest, doubling as a goddess of war, destruction and plague, and the goddess of the sun, rebirth, and medicine. in her human form she is all that and even more, the potency of humanity elevating her even more. aggressive, unpredictable, capricious, dogmatic, violent, and blood-thirsty. being a cia black ops special agent, she had long mastered the ability of manipulation, seduction, and faking any personality she wanted. as simple as flicking a switch.
