born from wealth, yangyang had everything he ever wanted. a mansion of a home, designer clothes, education in prestigious academies, and, although no amount of money could ever buy, his otherworldly good lucks. with his family's business in law, he also had his future pretty much set. but you can probably guess what happened. that was the only downside to his lavish lifestyle; he hated the overwhelming amount of pressure from his parents so he did what anyone else would, rebel. he applied to 9-to-5 jobs that, any normal parent would be happy about, but did the opposite effect considering that they wanted him to focus on his studies. it wasn't what he intended to do but he did learn a few things like responsibility and managing a business. he eventually found his love for coffee when working as a barista in a local cafe. working there sparked inspiration in him to make his own blend of coffee that he later sold online which, fortunately for him, skyrocketed in sales. his blend was so successful, he had enough saved to do whatever he wanted like startup his own cafe. and, at this point, there weren't any bad reason not to. so he said 'auf wiedersehen' to his life in germany and moved countries away to a quaint town called tiramisu, where he currently resides working in his own cafe, covet cafe.
yangyang has this natural inquisition to him that many would say is very endearing. however, he blurs the lines of pure curiosity to downright ignorance by unnecessarily mentioning his privileged life back in germany. 'oh, i never had to do that back at home. that's very interesting! so i just put bells in and it turns on?' he asks as he laughs at someone helping him out with his first-ever batch of laundry. he does this in a lighthearted manner, to joke, but it can come across wrong by a lot of people. generally, he's kind but hard to relate to. he holds himself to such a condescending degree, after years and years of false praise by his teachers, that he fails to recognize his own faults. although responsible enough to control every little thing about his business, he's very childish. he isn't above pulling morally ambiguous pranks on friends and then laughing at them while they were upset. and if you know yangyang, he will not live that down.
he's naturally gifted to learn things and perfect them just to flaunt about his skills nearly an hour after just hearing about it. namely, in music. if he practiced a little bit, he's pretty adequate in every instrument. his favorite being the violin - which he likes to play in his cafe when he's free.

since yangyang left, his brother had to take the reigns on the family business. they haven't had a close relationship since yangyang decided to go his own route. they have a little bit of disdain with one another but there's undoubtedly love underneath their sly remarks.

they've been together for as long as they can remember! they've seen through all of yangyang's tantrums when he was a child. they know every little thing about each other and sometimes they even mimic each other's mannerisms. they currently work with yangyang in his cafe so separating the two would be nearly impossible now that they've moved into tiramisu just for him.

they met briefly in a university in germany before yangyang moved away. but in that moment, they instantly clicked. they promised each other to write - to revive the art of letter making - to each other and talk about their lives. now that they have enough money to move, they're ready to give yangyang a surprise of a lifetime !

their personalities are quite opposite from one other but they kind of balance each other out. coming from a well-off family now humbling down in a town, yangyang is lowkey struggling. they've known each other since he moved in a few years back and, even know, he's still getting used to tiramisu. when he needs help with the basic of chores, he goes to you - unexpectedly or not.

despite only knowing each other recently, they're pretty close. yangyang treats them as if they've known each other for the longest. their habits are quick to pick up and make fun of. though they throw jabs at each other, they know it's all in good fun. often, they go to each other's workplace just to bother each other or just brighten each other's with some jokes or pranks.
