“Munchkin, people will try to put you in a bubble and try to define you without actually knowing your character. You can be good, bad- it doesn’t matter much. People will only see what they want to, just know mommy will always be here to protect you from the good and the bad.” Taehyung hadn’t fully understood then what his mom meant when she spoke those words to him as a child. Growing up, Taehyung was a curious child, never one to listen and do as he was told. He was rambunctious and loud, your average troublemaker. It wasn’t surprising to most considering he grew up in Malum and who his parents were. Offspring of the most famous supervillain couple; Joker and Harley Quinn, Taehyung learned from an early age of what expectations and assumptions that title brought upon him. Many kids weren’t allowed to play with him for who his parents were and how unpredictable they can be.

He witnessed firsthand what his father and mother were capable of. He would hide in closet until the screaming would die down until the fighting would cease and the sounds of objects being thrown were no more. Taehyung was ten years old when his mother made the decision to leave his father. Of course, they wouldn’t be able to leave without a fight. Things escalated quickly as they always did with their short tempers. This had been the first time Taehyung legitimately saw his parents physically fight. His mother took a bad hit, leaving her helpless on the floor and that’s all Taehyung could remember before blacking out. He’s not sure when he picked up the knife and began to stab his father, but he knows once he started, he felt a sadistic pleasure that urged him on until his mother had to pull him off. They fled. They were no doubt going to face time in prison for doing such a thing. They expected a search to be sent out for the one responsible for killing the notorious Joker. Weeks passed in quietness and it provoked Harley to go back to the house. In the spot where Taehyung had repeatedly stabbed his father there was a large blood stain but no body. How foolish of them to think that’s what it’d take to him down. After the incident, Harley had begged for Euphoria to take her in once more to save her and Taehyung from danger. They once again refused her. They had never seen her as a superhero, she never fit the agenda despite her change of heart. When she had found out she was pregnant she had tried her luck, to no avail. After the second rejection came resentment from the citizens of Malum for her betrayal. It was then that Taehyung truly understood what his mothers’ words meant.

Taehyung is quite an unorthodox character much like his mother and father. He is not one thing or the other, he is just, simply put, Taehyung. His morals are not aligned with the rules of neither Euphoria nor Malum. He skips to the beat of his own drum and doesn’t care who he steps on unless.. he does care. He can be a soft boy at times and a little cheeky. Personality is key after all. He doesn’t care much for what people say or think unless it pertains to his mother. Don’t let his bright boxy smile fool you, he wouldn’t hesitate to slit your throat open given his mood and circumstance.

Does he kill for fun often? Absolutely not. Would he kill for fun? Depends on who you talk to. Taehyung isn’t intimidating in the least and he has no reason to be. He has no intentions to scare other people; however, he refuses to be disrespected and if you decide to cross him, you better understand what circumstances you’ve just gotten yourself into. He may hate his father, but one of the few things he’s inherited is his ability to appear more harmless than he actually is and his notable mean streak.

Likes: the color blue especially sky blue, movies, his moms cooking, sweets specifically crepe cake, adventure, loud noises, animals.

Dislikes: liars, fakes, hypocrites, quietness, his dad, batman, assumptions, dead flowers and the colors black and white.

Hobbies: helps run a bar with his mom, attends uni in euphoria and majors in psych just like his mom, fights on weekends or in general and paints.
