— ❛  background : Nako was a new doll once, a pristine and beautiful angel who sold rather quickly to a businessman who wanted a pretty little plaything to keep him company. she was excited to have an owner and he a little angel, her glowing halo shining a bright happy gold as she left hand in hand with him.
a few months later she was found dumped back in front of the dollhouse, the glass and inner mechanisms in her body broken to pieces.
They tried their best to fix her back up. it didn't seem too hard, just a lot of small fixes stacked on top of each other. soon she was good as new on the outside– but when damage is done mentally, it's a lot harder to fix.
She wont talk about what happened, what he did to her. bits and pieces will come out alluding to a violent physical and ual relationship, but they come out in statements she refuses to elaborate on. shes "fine." but whatever happened has managed to break her from the inside out; even after being fixed, those at the dollhouse noticed cracks reemerging on her skin, specifically on her face. she is repeatedly taken in for upkeep to try and mend parts that seem to rot and break off of her. with the good care of the workers she is starting to look better, just the occasional crack or two popping up here and there, but she wears a white heart eye patch on her left eye to hide damage that just refuses to heal.

— ❛ characteristics : nako was modeled after a porcelain angel doll, but her once beautifully delicate features have been left damaged from her past owner and irreparable trauma.
she has small angel wings, only reaching a bit past her shoulders in length. they are completely decorational but do occasionally flutter in rare instances of excitement. On her head is a thin bent metal wire suspended by another wire; this was at one point a halo which would glow different colors with her emotions. they were unable to repair it, but it will occasionally spark.
each of her joints are ball-jointed. another design element to add to her sweet and delicate thematics, these joints are now sticky and rotting. she frequently has to get quick fixes done if not limbs replaced entirely because of how quickly they seem to jam. the state of her joints as well as her constantly rotting limbs give her a very clockwork-like appearance when she moves, each of her movements coming across jerky and rough. another difference is her skin. originally it felt like, well, normal skin, but now it has become akin to porcelain. it frequently cracks upon movement or touch, flaking off in chipped pieces to reveal the machinery underneath. yet another thing that needs to be consistently mantained and replaced.
finally is her eyepatch and her left eye; of all the brokens bits and pieces on her body, her left eye is one of the spots that just keeps getting shattered and torn from the inside out. in order to combat this she simply wears a white heart shaped eye patch over it (shown left).

— ❛ headcanons : to be updated with roleplays and etc.
- the wire halo on nako's head is now completely useless, but she's found a way to make it work- she tries to decorate it. occasionally she will walk around with different charms and items hanging from the surprisingly sturdy wire, whether she put them there or someone else did for her. christmas time is always a fun time for this in particular. 
- animals are cute! she loves them a lot. this being said, she would of course have a soft spot for the different animal themed dolls she lives with. if you have any sort of animal motif she will definitely try to pet you.
- her physical body and her mind are disconnected. her emotions seem gone, replaced by an eerily cute grin, but they're still somewhere deep inside. this disconnect also impacts her physicality– she is very uncoordinated and has trouble controlling her own body. she frequently misjudges her grip and easily breaks things by holding them too tight or dropping them because she isn't holding tight enough.
- her disconnection from her body as well as her rough movements make nako prone to accidents. not only is her inner trauma literally rotting her away but she frequently damages parts of her body from hitting them against things and accidentally cutting them. its not uncommon to see her covered in her manufactured blood from a nasty injury she's accidentally given herself. even then, she never shows reactions to the pain. she will walk around with the injury as if it isn't there until someone else helps her with it.
- nako has an affinity for dainty, sweet lolita styled clothing, frequently wearing lacey dresses and pumps and bows. a lot of her clothing is ripped and its not uncommon to see her blood on it. 
- when nako does have emotional reactions to things it is still extremely distant, as if only one part of her is hurting while another is still fine. sometimes you can spot tears pouring from her eyes while she goes about her day none the wiser. 
- she has a thing for physical and emotional affection, but she seems to have mostly blocked herself from showing it to others. while she seems to act mostly like a servant, if you love up on her she will melt into it. she may even try to reciprocate by touching your face, but this often comes out a bit harsh since she can't control her strength very well.
- she likes to bake. it doesn't end well anymore and mostly just ends in broken plates and messy counters, but its the thought that counts.
- she also likes tea. she can't drink it, but she sometimes will sit with a cup in front of her and watch it without touching it. this has never really been explained nor understood. 
- her old owner seems to have tried to mold her into the perfect maid which shows in her affinity to trying to help others and give them things. again, it never ends well because she basically breaks everything she touches, but she'll try to sweep for you and bring you food more often than not.
